Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for business development at the branch level with regards to account opening, deposit mobilisation and loans
  •  Supervising the sales team and recommending the hiring and replacing of Direct Sales Agents(DSAs)
  •  Providing training and development on a regularly business to DSAs
  •  Maintaining a very profitable portfolio with regards to all the products and services of the institution
  •  Acting as a Backup to the Branch manager in specific instances
  •  Carrying regular sales performance meetings and determining specific actions to close sales gaps
  •  Responsible for efficient relationship management.

Key Attributes and Skills

  •  At least a first degree (or its equivalent) in banking, marketing, sales or management
  •  At least 2 years of   experience in branch sales management gained from a banking or microfinance institution
  •  Very strong product knowledge
  •  Highly developed cross-selling skills
  •  Developed sales, sales management and marketing skills
  •  Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  •  High proficiency in the French and English Languages
  •  Strong analytical skills
  •  Mastery of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
  •  Basic knowledge of digital marketing
