Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for deposit mobilisation through account opening and effective portfolio management.
  •  Responsible for revenue generation through account opening, sale of loans, money transfers, sale of foreign currencies and through effective cross selling to ensure that each account opened is equipped with at least 3 products.
  •  Responsible for effective portfolio management and ensuring that assigned accounts are managed in a profitable manner.
  •  Actively participating in branch sales meetings.
  •  Implementing robust sales discipline by ensuring that call plans and call memos are always done.
  •  Identifying business opportunities and defining key strategies and actions to close on them.
  •  Recommending granting of loans and ensuring that loan accounts are managed in a manner as to greatly minimize the possibility of delinquency or outright default.
  •  Recovery of delinquent and defaulted loans.

Key Attributes and Skills

  •  At least a first degree (or its equivalent) preferably in banking, marketing, sales or management.
  •  Strong product knowledge.
  •  Developed cross-selling skills.
  •  Developed oral and written communication skills.
  •  High proficiency in the French and English Languages.
  •  Strong analytical skills.
  •  Mastery of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  •  Basic knowledge of digital marketing.
