Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for the overall business and operational performance and success of the branch
  •  Coordinating branch activities in compliance with the Company’s applicable instruments (policy manuals, management directives, the budget, internal rules & regulations, etc.) in the realisation of business objectives
  •  Planning business activity and coordinating its execution
  •  Identifying profitable business opportunities and developing appropriate sales and marketing actions to close on them
  •  Effectively delegating powers to close collaborators to facilitate job accomplishment
  •  Reporting on a routine basis to hierarchy and updating collaborators in regular branch coordination meetings on all business exigencies and developments
  •  Maintaining a praiseworthy business relationship with all customers and collaborators
  •  Managing the digital marketing platform

Key Attributes and Skills

  •  At least a first degree in banking and finance or management related disciplines
  •  Strong team leadership skills
  •  3+ years of experience in branch management gained from a banking or microfinance institution
  •  Developed sales, sales management and marketing skills
  •  Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  •  High proficiency in the French and English Languages
  •  Strong analytical skills
  •  Very strong product knowledge
  •  Highly developed cross-selling skills
  •  Mastery of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  •  General knowledge of the functional of banking software
  •  Strong knowledge of Microfinance
